The funders in the MassNeeds effort encourage you to give your time and money locally to support the agencies that are providing assistance in your community. Below are some ideas on how to get involved.

Learn More – Explore the MassNeeds.org website to learn more about the needs of individuals and nonprofit organizations across the Commonwealth and see what groups the MassNeeds funders are supporting this year.

Donate – No amount is too large or too small. This Nonprofit Partners page lists many worthy nonprofits already supported by the funders and also provides further information and links that can aid you in your search. Many of these organizations’ websites allow you to make an online donation. Clicking on the Donate link for an organization will bring you directly to the donation section of their website. Many organizations also happily accept in kind donations of food, clothing, and other items.

Volunteer – One of the greatest things you can donate is your time. Explore the websites of the MassNeeds.org organizations to see how, when, and where you, your family, and friends can volunteer. Clicking on the Volunteer link for an organization will bring you directly to information about volunteering.

Tell Us About It - The MassNeeds.org Facebook page is a great way to tell us what you are doing this winter to help others, and to encourage your friends and family to join you. Like the page, share your story, and stay in touch for updates on the MassNeeds.org effort throughout the winter.
